Discovering March

Discovering March

Welcome to the Discovery series! I will share recent trends I’ve noticed, products I’m digging, a playlist to jam to, and thought-provoking articles.

Japanese Cherry Blossoms - I am going to Japan this Fall and currently planning my itinerary (comment below with any tips/advice!), but all I’m currently seeing are beautiful cherry blossoms! Do you know about the Sakura season in Japan? If not, check out this video to learn a bit more about the beautiful season for which Japan is world-renowned, as well as have a few laughs (Abroad in Japan is currently my FAVORITE youtuber; my boyfriend and I are watching all of his videos to create hype for our upcoming trip and because he’s hilarious!). I’m currently trying to save money, so I didn’t go out to get this Sakura sticker pack but oh my gosh, kawaii!! I truly had heart eyes when it came into my inbox. You can bet I’ll be counting on a re-release next year.

March playlist - follow me on Spotify! I make yoga playlists, monthly playlists, or you can check out my “Obsessions” for songs I’m listening to nonstop.

Spring Equinox Meditation - Ring in the new season with fresh seeds of intention. Take some time for yourself, maybe with a cup of nourishing tea, and let this meditation guide you into spring.

Chai Cashew Milk Latte - want to try making your own cashew milk? Or looking to quit coffee? Or just looking for a great chai recipe? Look no further than one of my favorite integrative gurus - Aviva Romm.

Clean Beauty Follain - in our efforts to avoid chemicals, sometimes it can be a little overwhelming. Follain works to make that easy by putting many of the cleanest beauty brands all in one place. I’ll be ordering the W3ll People Mascara; my current one has my eyes watering and itching every night, ick!

Turmeric Shots - I’ve downed a few of these this month. My boyfriend has been sick so along with putting him in quarantine I’ve been taking 1-2 of these each week (I would like to do more, but I’m too lazy). They are extremely potent; the kick of ginger makes my face pucker! But, seemingly effective? With my n of 1, I haven’t gotten sick (knock on wood) so I rank them A+.

Deepak Chopra and Oprah 21-day Meditation Challenge - I did this (15/21 days) a few months ago and it was great! I would listen before bed to soothe my mind, which was often thinking about the holidays or building my website (took me long enough!). This time I really want to hit 21/21 days, and I think it would be great for you to join in. It’s free on the app, and the theme is Manifesting Grace through Gratitude, starting March 25th.

Make your own all-purpose cleaner - We care about what we put in our skin, what about what we’re inhaling into our lungs? In my effort to make my entire home more non-toxic, I’m buying more natural cleaners but to save money I definitely need to try making my own!

As of right now, there are no affiliate links in this post! I’m just truly sharing products and things that I’m loving and want to support. If I ever do partner with a brand, you can trust it’s something I’ve carefully considered and one that aligns with our vivaciously well values.
